Renee Matchett, Women's Ministry
 | I am thrilled that you are interested in Women's ministry! Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Renee Matchett. I am the youngest in my family. I have 4 brothers and a sister. I have been married to my very best friend for 13 years and I was born to be a mom to my 3 children. I first got involved in Women's Ministry about 7 years ago. I must admit, I was reluctant at first. In the past women had made me a little bit nervous. I guess we've all been hurt at one time or another by a catty comment or a back handed compliment made by someone we thought was our friend. Sometimes we allow a few bad experiences like these to dictate our tomorrows. Fortunately for me, a few good women were able to turn all of that around in my life. I realize now that having good women in my life is a necessity. God has taught me so much through these relationships. I believe that something amazing happens when women get together. And I believe that God is calling each of us to mentor the next generation of young women. I am excited about the future. I can't wait to see what God is going to do in the lives and hearts of women like you! |
